Below are the tube fabrication services offered by Hycom.

Tube Bending

Hycom is an ISO certified company that specializes in custom tube forming for companies both large–up to Fortune 500–and small- to medium-sized businesses across the country.

Bending Capabilities

Our capabilities include bending a wide range of tube sizes (both round and square shapes) from 3/16″ O.D. up to 5″ O.D. Our CNC and manual draw benders are operated by experienced technicians who can fabricate anything from simple 45 degree and 90 degree bends to complex bends on multiple planes including mild steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, and other bendable materials.

Available Finishes include: phosphate, powder coating (in-house), nickel, and zinc plating (yellow or clear).

Benders Include:

8 CNC benders, 8 manual power benders and 6 Diacro benders

If required, tubes can be coated for functional or aesthetic purposes with powder coating or zinc plating. Brazed end fittings can be done using copper, silver, and nickel. Welded end finishes include TIG and MIG welds.

Endforming

Endforming with mechanically formed flanges and flares creates strong, leak-free, consistent connections while reducing manufacturing costs. Hycom develops application-specific tooling and verifies every process with rigorous dimensional and fatigue testing, delivering dependable results from prototype through production.

Tube Welding

Hycom excels at custom tube welding projects for adding pieces such as brackets or fittings. Depending on the job requirements, we can weld either robotically or by hand (MIG and TIG). All welds are 100% leak tested.

Induction Brazing

Brazing provides a durable, reliable method for joining fittings in-line or at the end of a component. Brazing is great for high-vibration environments.

Powder Coating and Plating Finishes

Hycom offers powder coating and zinc trivalent plating to deliver durable, corrosion-resistant finishes for hydraulic tube assemblies. Our surface treatment processes are engineered specifically for hydraulic applications and consistently exceed customer performance requirements. Galfan-coated tubing is also available for applications requiring enhanced corrosion protection.

Finishes

Powder coating adds distinct advantages over conventional liquid paint. Since powder coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in liquid suspension, powder coating is applied electro statically via spray gun. Once, applied, the part is cured in a large oven, which allows the powder to flow (once heated) and form a “skin” that creates a hard finish that is tougher and more durable than conventional paints.
